Biography
Bob Keselowski turned over the reins of the Mopar
Performance Dodge team to Dennis Setzer in 1999
and settled into an R&D mode for Daimler-Chrysler
... he had several solid performances, including a
ninth-place finish in the season's second visit to
Texas Motor Speedway ... Keselowski also qualified
fourth in the tour's inaugural appearance at Michigan
Speedway ... injury kept Keselowski from building
on a solid, 1997 season, in which he won at
Richmond International Raceway ... prior to
formation of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series,
Keselowski competed in ARCA ... he won the 1984
ARCA championship ... his record includes 24
victories and 26 pole position ... prior to driving, he
was older brother Ron's crew chief, in NASCAR
