| En 1991 ya desintegrada la banda RCA hace una compilacion de los mas grandes exitos de eurythmics. 2 versiones: Greatest hits America y Greatest hits Europa. Por fin este album tiene las mejores canciones de eurythmics, solo 18 para america y 13 en europa. el album es recomendable; todas sus canciones son notables. |

| 'PEACE' es el album que marca la reunion entre Annie Lennox Y Dave Stewart despues de una decada de estar apartados. El album abre con una elegante, inspiracional y maginifica cancion 17 AGAIN, una cancion que denota la historia del duo con la ingeniosa idea de la inclusion de un verso de la cancion 'SWEET DREAMS' la primera cancion que los mando a la fama mundial. Es un album excepcional con sonidos maduros, representativo de una nueva sensacion de espacio. El sonido es organico altamente Retro. 'I SAVED THE WORLD TODAY' la cancion que se lanzo en europa, es una cancion ironica de los ideales heroicos y de la ayuda que necesita el mundo actual... 'POWER TO THE MEEK' en contraste es una cancion euforica,adrenalinica y energica, una celebracion de persistencia; es la cancion mas energetica y movida del album. 'STOP THE WORLD' el tema principal del album, te envuelve en la letra... Annie articula su voz de humanidad, interpreta los sentimientos de una sociedad moderna. 'I`VE TRIED EVERYTHING' es un concepto de existencia y realidad, es una excelente y brillante composicion, habla de soledad y desesperacion... 'I WANT IT ALL' es otra extraordinaria cancion de rock que recae en los campos de aquella cancion 'i need a man' 'MY TRUE LOVE' en contraste es una balada romantica de dolor y un austero melodrama, con un sentimiento retro. El album termina con 2 canciones con un una energia Eurythmical y pasion. 'FOREVER' es un homenaje a 'THE BEATLES' con un sonido semejante en donde Dave hizo lasa mezclas en 'THE CHURCH STUDIOS' con un glorios triunfo. 'LIFTED' la ultima cancion tocando arriba con una pesada alma, flautas.. un sonido unico nunca antes visto. Lleva un mensaje de PAZ y de PERSEVERANCIA. | Despues de hacer diferentes apariciones en Tv, y hacer la gira de la Paz, Annie lanzo su tercer disco en solitario y Dave produjo canciones para otras bandas. A punto de salir todo el catalogo de albumnes de Eurythmics incluyendo rarezas y temas aun sin realizar. Annie en una entrevista dijo que su tiempo como solista había terminado por lo que andaba en busca de Dave para volver al estudio y Eurythmics estará de nuevo con todo el mundo |
| Despues de 5 años de ausencia en los estudios, Eurythmics vuelve a componer. Fue en Agosto de 2005 cuando Annie Lennox, viajo a Los Angeles a visitar a Dave, visitaron el estudio blanco de Dave (muy parecido al de John Lennon); la inspiracion les llego como en los viejos tiempos y en 45 minutos ya habian grabado una nueva cancion. Y asi fue como grabaron 2 nuevas canciones: "I've got a life" y "Was it just another love affaire" que vienen el recien disco de Eurythmics. Asi el 31 de Octubre lanzaron el sencillo, a la par de una galeria de imagenes que celebra los 25 años del grupo. |
