| Michael Allred was born on June 5th 1975 in a small suburb of Atlanta Georgia. Michael started writing and recording his own music in 1993 as a way of coping with the uncontrollable circumstances of life. He said "You can't always control the world around you, and you will sure never understand the reasons why some things happen, but you can be your own therapist and write about your feelings, getting them out of your system so you can move on with your life." Michael continued to record his music for many years before ever letting anyone outside his family and friends listen to what he had been working on. His first exposure to the public eye and ear was at a small coffee shop in Fayetteville, GA. He performed at Inizio Coffee for several months before moving on to other coffee shop chains around Atlanta before vanishing from the public eye without a trace. Michael married his hometown sweetheart Lisa Ikner in May of 1999. In May of 2001 Michael and Lisa became the proud parents of a son Bradley Austin Allred. Michael still wrote music in his spare time but missed performing in live situations and bringing his music to the public. So in the summer of 2002 he answered an ad in a local newspaper and auditioned for Joe Ramey. He then found himself as lead vocalist and the other half of what has become know as the musical phenomenon EuroVision. |
