Here is the history of each EES competition, in almost a hall of fame.

Season 1
The season started after 2 weeks of friendlies, with the first games being played in the Division 1, Roma first out the blocks with Antonio Cassano netting the first EES hattrick in a 3-0 Roma win over Dortmund who just never got going then on until the later weeks. The biggest game came at Anfield, where the completely revampedLiverpool side relayed on a late John Arne Riise goal to just see off Ranger's. In the Premiership, it was Bayern Munich who took top spot first, Ricardo Carvalho seeing red on his debut granted Andriy Shevchenko to slot home from the spot going top by alphabetical order. Celtic just missed out, after beating Lyon all thanks to Craig Bellamy, it then took Celtic a while to earn their second win, but they did steal points of Real Madrid in week 3. The only other win in week 1 came from Inter Milan, as Rui Costa fired in his first goal which was the first of a 4 goal in 5 game ratio. After 4 weeks, Roma were the only team to take a full 12 points after seeing off Newcastle and Liverpool in that area, where as Premiership top spot was taken from Inter Milan, 2 wins and 2 draws guiding them to the promise land, where as Lyon seemed down and out early on. Month 2 saw Real Madrid take 10 points from 12, only dropping points to AC Milan, moving them in title contention. Else where, one of the favorite'sManchester United failed to impress, out of 24 points United managed just 13 points leaving the straggling in mid table but looking O.K., despite selling most of their major players, and swooping Shaun Wright- Philips for a record £50,000,000. Within 2 weeks in Division 1, 5 players were shown red, 3 in 1 game, which is EES' highest scoring game to date. Roma beat Rangers 8-3, with Dado Prso, Ivan Cordoba and Alan Hutton all being given the cards, in that game both Antonio Cassano and Francesco Totti, grabbed hat-trick All the talk was on how poor Dortmund were doing, with their squad of players but it was Bayer Leverkusen and Ajax who couldn't manage to score. Both teams failing to score goals and earn points, as he season came into its mid point. Porto came into fantastic form, hammering Tottenham 5-1, and hitting Deportivo for 7 aswell as a comfortable victory over Dortmund who just started to get their act together, and beating Deportivo again, but this time a mere 1-0. Also, Roma suffered their first defeat of the campaign to Real Betis with the dynamic duo of Joaquin and Denilson grabbing goals in a 2-0 victory. Tottenham were once certain for a play off spot, as teams couldn't find ways to beat them, but after a shocking 5-1 upset from Porto, they did see off Betis and Roma before gaining just 5 points in 6 games with their only win coming over a very shaky Borussia Dortmund side. The Premiership saw Lyon put up a fight, getting 3 victories over Inter, Celtic and Bayern Munich, before then slumping to the Germans the following week. Valencia too had to muster up some victories as the season went on, they managed an impressive 3-3 draw with Chelsea, an easy victory over a struggling Celtic side, an 88th minute equaliser against Arsenal before seeing them off a week later making it interesting at the bottom. The biggest impact came from Juventus at Celtic, the Turin Giants smashing 6 past Celtic, sending a message to Real Madrid as both teams battled it out at the top, with Real Madrid putting 3 past Juventus with a Ronaldo hat-trick leaving the Juventus to play catch up in the Championship race. Lyon continued winning ways with a 7 goal thriller at Celtic Park, practically relegating the Scottish side with Sylvain Witord bagging 5. Manchester United failed to earn a point and score a goal between weeks 13 and 16, Bayern Munich smashing a Shevchenko hat-trick past them for a 3-0 win, a former red in Eric Dejemba- Djemba saw off United to give Celtic their frst win since the openning day of the season. Defeats from Chelsea and Arsenal ended Uniteds worst month to date in the EES. Chelsea put themselves in totle contention with a month of straight victorys, seeing off Juventus, Lyon and Real Madrid in that time, while Ronaldinho just went on a huge scoring spree then on, netting 8 goals in 4 weeks, 5 came in a 7-0 thumping over Inter Milan in week 17. PSV found some form, and having to get a joint manager of the month award with Jose Mourinho after both managers went in a month unbeaten and seeing themselves into the cup semi finals to face each other, where Chelsea needed extra time to clinch a 3-2 victory, anyway after earning a point at Spurs, seeing off Ajax in a 3-1 victory, and needing just one goal to see of Rangers and Dortmund in consecutive weeks, PSV in 4th and a play off place was practically secured. Lyon started finding it hard to lose, weeks 17-20 Lyon never lost and with 2 wins and 2 draws they looked strong and very impressive, they then went on to a 3-0 thumping over Inter and truely over came the odds of the potential relgation. The closing weeks were real battles, 3 teams in both leagues potential winners all going to the final day, where in the end Bayern Munich proved goal difference counts by clincihing the title by 1 extra goal on goal difference over Chelsea who suffered a 5-0 thrashing off Arsenal in the final week, whereas Liverpool where on the right end of a 4-0 result over Leverkusen to clinch them the Division 1 title, leaving Roma second and Newcastle third. The Premiership winners Bayern Munich jumped Real Madrid and Chelsea in order to steel the championship. The cup was an exciting contest and the most enthusiastic cup team on the whole cam out winners. The final was hosted at Old Trafford where it was an all English final, where both sides already met in the group stage. Liverpool feel short in the group stage and had retribution on their mind as they faced a Chelsea side, who were beaten to the title by just 1 goal on goal difference, Jose Mourinho believed his Chelsea side must win some silverwear in the season. In a hard fought game, end to end and thriling goal mouth action, Liverpool ended up losing to a Chelsea side who made better chances and ended up winning 2-1 in a packed stadium as the London side clinched their first trophy in the EES. 4 teams earned the right at the end of the season to play in the play offs. Newcastle who missed out on 2nd place by 2 points, PSV Eindhoven who where the lowest ranked cup team to make it to the Semi Finals where eventual winners Chelsea knocked the dutch side out in Extra Time, FC Porto who came a live in the dying weeks of the season and a Tottenham Hotspur side who had a roller coster ride and managed to hold on to their spot with a last week draw. The games where both hard fought, and PSV managed a shocking 4-2 victory over Newcastle, and Porto required 1 goal to see off Tottenham to book their place in the final. The final went to Cardiff, the Millenium Stadium wasn't quite a sell outand many wonder why? 7 goals were spilt between the sides but PSV struck with an 86th minute winner to win the game 4-3 gving them Premiership football in season 2.
