SWEDEN
Sweden is located on the eastern part of the Scandinavian Peninsula.  Sweden is the largest and the most populace of the three Scandinavian Countries.  Late in the 14th centry German power in Scandinavia was so great that Sweden, Denmark and Norway feared a German conquest.  In 1397 the 3 united against Germany.  In 1527 Lutheran Protestantism was made the state religion.
SWITZERLAND
Switzerland is a small mountainous country in Central Europe.  Switzerland is boarded on the west by France and Austria and Germay to the north and Italy to the south.  Each of the four major countries has had a influence on the culture of the Swiss.  German, French, Italian and Romanish are all official languages.  Its historical importance has been partly fue to its control of the passes leading from Italy to the north.
YUGOSLAVIA
Yugoslavia is a European country occupying the northwestern portion of the Baltic Peninsula.  Yugoslavia is made up of Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia. Bosnia, Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia. Yugoslavia di not become a unified nation until 1918.  The Austrians and Hungarians dominated the north for centries and the Turks dominated the south.
