While I was in St. Gallen I hitch-hiked to Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is a really small country between Switzerland and Austria. Behind Vaduz you can see the Rhein river. On the other side of the Rhein is Buchs, a town in Switzerland. The Rhein is the border here. 
While in Vaduz I hiked up to a castle where the Prince of Liechtenstein still lives today! Unfortunately, he doesn't like wandering Canadians as visitors, so I was only able to see the outside. 
After seeing Vaduz (it doesn't take long, even though it's a national capital there are only about 4000 inhabitants) I hitch-hiked to a town in the south of Liechtenstein (a whole four km away) where I found another castle.
