Beginners French is a beginners course in French  for anyone who is interested in learning the basics of reading, writing and speaking this beautiful romance language. This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of the French  language.

In this course, participants will: - Learn basic pronunciation of the language. - Become familiar with the French alphabet and numbers. - Learn simple phrases and sentence structure. - Learn how to greet, introduce yourself and tell the time. - Learn the days of the week and months of the year. - Learn important rules of grammar and sentence construction.
Course Lessons

Lesson 1: An Introduction - This lesson is designed to introduce students to the course and to prepare them for the following lessons. It gives tips and examples of how to complete the course successfully. It outlines what is expected of students.
Lesson 2: Alphabet, Numbers and Pronunciation - This lesson teaches the basics of the French alphabet, pronunciation of vowels and combinations of vowels as well as the numbers from zero to ten.
Lesson 3: Greetings - In this lesson you will learn how to introduce yourself, ask someone their name and ask them how they are.
Lesson 4: Introductory Grammar - This lesson will go over some of the important grammar in the French language and introduce some new words for your vocabulary.
Lesson 5: Days, Weeks and Months - This lesson teaches the pronunciation of the days and months. It also teaches some questions and phrases regarding past, present and future tense, and introduces some new words for your vocabulary.
Lesson 6: Definite Articles and Nouns - This lesson looks at definite articles as well as the singlular and plural forms of nouns.
Lesson 7: Indefinite Articles and Demonstratives - This lesson covers grammar regarding indefinite articles and demonstratives.
Lesson 8: Possessive Adjectives - This lesson looks at possessive adjectives; my, your, his/her, our, their.
Lesson 9: Numbers 1-100 and colours - This lesson teaches the numbers from 1 to 100 as well as some of the basic colours.
Lesson 10: Telling the Time - This lesson teaches how to tell the time.
Lesson 11: The final Exam - Discussing the final exam
