Our 2006 Valentine's Program
was held on February 11, 2006.

It was a successful event, and it was ALL because of God most of all...and the Youth!  The parents loved it...and they got our message of LOVE...from the play we did of Jacob and Rachel.

"If you love someone, you will do anything for them."

Other shows in our Program was:
Love Therapy...which showcased ME (Rebecca) and Meng Her.  We performed as Adam and Eve.  Then there also was Paia and Timothy, who performed as two couples fighting over what they wore and etc. It was funny watching Paia act like a Ninja..HAHAHAHA....OK. Then there was WHO'S YOUR KID? You can guess what we did there...guess...come on.  Anyways...next show.........................
We did a Newlywed Game to find out...who's parents knew each other the most...and guess what? My parents won!  YAY!  Yeah...They're the middle couple in the picture below.

<-----These people worked their butts off except for Meng Her, who's in the middle.  :D  HEHE...LOL!  Just kidding.  He worked hard too as 2nd Jacob and Adam.   Paia (the girl on the left) is our Treasurer so when our parents starting taking picture "Youth-Professionally" done, and they started to buy Airgrams and Roses....well, she got her butt working keeping the records right with the handy-dandy help of her Assistant Tao Yang! They did a great job!

Oh yeah!  Tiffany (Our Youth VP) and Kao Yang (Our Secretary), hosted the Newly Wed game. They came up with the games and questions...so they deserve a round of applause...*applause*  :D

Below...we have the lovely couples: Chongshoua and N. Chongshoua, my parents (Nhia Chao Lor and N. Nhia Chao), and Houa and N. Houa.
Here are some pictures from before the event.  The girls did a wonderful job decorating.  The boys helped us with moving around the table and chairs.  THANKS BOYS!  Yeah...ahah...most of the time they were jamming with Timo and Pao on the guitars.  (boys will be boys)

We had two table set up with candles and our booths  were in the back where we provided them with refreshments including Fruit Punch with orange slices and pineapple chunks.  We also had homemade strawberry cake and shrimp chips laid out on the tables.  We also made ASIAN Jello...it was good.  Most of the youth snuck pieces to eat by the end of the night.

We had 11 couples show up to our Valentine's Program!!!
Let me see what else we had in our Program...hm......

We had a few songs song personally by Mai Cheng Yang (she sang two Hmong songs).  And when me and Timothy sang the song,
When God Made You, we got the parents dancing!!!  YAY!  For some of them..it was their first time.  It was a beautiful sight. *sigh*

Our Youth President, Mai Cheng Yang, finished up the show with a special LOVE sermon.

And to wrap it up, our Youth stayed afterwards to clean up....we made a beautiful banner...you see below.
We had a BLAST working together to pull off the Valentine's Program.  As you can see, everybody worked hard to make our parents happy, esp. to raise money to fundraise for our Youth.  We even involved our the Sabbath School Class!  Well....lemme continue with some thanks...THANK GOD of course MOST OF ALL.  Thanks to the YOUTH too for helping out A LOT.  They were awesome!  Thanks to the Officers who worked their butts off to make sure things were perfect.  Thank the Parents for supporting us from the start.  THANK the Sabbath Class for their roles as our sheep in the play..lol.  And thank you for checking out our Page...:D  BAI!  And HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO EVERYONE!
