I just wanted to say that the Euchre Tourney on Friday nights is GREAT :) and tho I don't have a regular partner ... I enjoy the variety that you assign me :D Hugs, Sizzler/Sizz514/Patti |
If two people who are regular pards enter the GPP Lobby and see two other people with a table already set up and hailing for players to join them, WHY do these second-comers also set up a table and begin hailing for opponents? And then why does a THIRD...and then a FOURTH couple do the same?????? Monday night, March 16, 10:40 EST...this was the exact scenario in the Lobby. FOUR waiting tables, with two people at each, and NOBODY making a move to merge. How DUMB! Can anyone explain the logic of it?? ty. QuietLady |
This message board and
newsletter are GREAT!!!! GOOD WORK JO AND KALIKI!!! Oh, and Greg too, but I include
him only cuz he will pout if I don't. Besides, maybe if I get on his good side he will
quit trumping every froglicking ace I play!!!!! grrrrrrrr. I can never make it home in
time for the tourney, so it is great to have this little section on the net where I can
catch up on what went on. Gee it is just like I was there! If you get a tourney for the
LAST place people going, I will cut out of work so I can join that...would love a
chance to beat the LAST place team...Billherm and his poor partner! Claudia1 |

A euchre team consists of 2 one - a horse of a different hue The other likes to dance and twirl She''s know by all as the "Dollgirl" Ruffian likes to kick and buck They seem to have a lot of luck TO some it may seem oh so tragic Little do they know of Ruffian's magic She'll twitch her tail and cast a spell a trick she's learned to do so well Around the euchre track they journey In hopes of winning their 2nd tourney !!!!!!!!! written by my pard Ruffian1 Dollgirl |
Playing
Euchre at WestWood is a blast. Though I still miss week-end nights as a teenager
goming home late and hearing (as I walked from the car) Loud laughter and unspeakable
language and the sound of knuckles slaming down on the kitchin table. Catching hell
for being so late and then ordered to sit My young _ _ _ down and help Dad stomp Mom
and aunt Ruth's butt, witch wasn't easy...... it's been over 20 years since I'v had this
much fun thanks people of WestWood SloRide |
