The social connection my project tries to emphasize brought into an artistic context can be perceived as the interaction between the artist and the public. The contact established is vital to a better understanding of the art itself and to a stronger relationship between that art and the ones to whom it is addressed.

Even if it is techincally appreciated, an artistic object into a gallery can seem a lot of times emotionally cold and unfriendly to many of the ones who look at it. What hinders a closer relationship between the art and the public is in my opinion a not enough personalized target of the art's message. For example, speak to a group of 50 people, and if you're lucky 90% of them will clearly understand your point. Speak to 50 people individually and you'll be sure that every single one of them has got your message exactly as you intended it.

Virtually that's my settled reason of action: a more individualized contact with the audience brings an improvement to the efficiency of the artistic message.

That's the motive why I want my work to speak personally to each of the individuals who are eventually interested in it. I want every part of the painting and every single artistic card to reach a different person as a gift and a symbol which may be able to arouse sensibility and joy at least for the reason that it is an object received from someone met on the Internet.

AN ADDITIONAL ARTISTIC INTENT

The accomplishment of this process can't be completed without the involvement of other people, as many as possible. Thus, I am also just a "part" of the "whole". That's the way I want to understand the meaning of my work.

Please don't hesitate to contact me and feel free to let others know about the project so that we make this Internet communication network become bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger...

No part of this project would ever existed if it weren't for the beautiful people I met on the Hole Lotta Love Mailing List. Thank you all a lot.

I would also like to thank to my Graphics teacher, Mr. Adrian Timar, who guided me in my artistic activity for three years and helped me cope with this project, too; to my sister who encouraged me all this time; and at last but not at least, to all the people who joined or will ever join the project. Thank you all very much.
