Adopt-A-Road

Scout Troop 575 has adopted a two mile stretch of Old Millersport Road.
Our portion starts at the edge of Lancaster City Limits
and goes north two miles ending near the intersection of Old
Millersport Road
and Carrol Eastern Road.
The troop cleans the area four times a year and collects as much as 20
bags of garbage. While we are cleaning the road side, we separate
out the aluminum cans and recycle those. Doing so, we have
recycled as much as 30 pounds of cans in one road clean-up.
