Romance
The first time I laid my eyes on her, I felt my knees weaken
The first time I heard her voice, I felt my body melt
The first time I held her hand, I felt the earth tremble below me
The first time I tasted her kiss, I felt time froze to save our moment
Now, she lays beside me watching the setting sun ignite the sky with golden flames
Feeling the warm sand beneath our feet and the cool air blowing upon our faces
Hearing the soothing sounds of waves that crahsed onto the shore
Smelling the wide array of foliage behind us and the salty waters before us
But for me, the only thing that mattered was that she was with me
It felt as if no other being was present, just her and I
I thought of nothing but her love as I stared into her emerald eyes
Nothing else mattered, not the setting sun, nor the crashing waves
Not the chilling winds, nor the aromatic vegetation
None could compare to this goddess's beauty
She was mine, and I was hers
Nothing would ever change that
