A Prayer

Please help me through the next day,
And thank you for getting me through this one.
Please give me everything I need,
And don't let me covet other's belongings.
Please guide me on your path,
And let me use your gifts to their greatest potential.
Thank you for dying on the cross for me,
And keep me safe during this night.
I pray all this with complete trust in you.
Prince of Peace, King of Kings,
Yahweh, The Holy One, or Friend,
I know you will keep your promise,
And answer this prayer.
Thank you Lord,
