Mystery Within As I look into your eyes I begin to delve deeper in their depths Slowly, I begin to look farther Images are all around me Yet on none can I focus. Swimming through the depths I try to concentrate on what I'm seeing Slowly, the mists begin to clear And I see what I'm passing Hopes and dreams Wishes and thoughts All these things are flowing past me On my right I see a beautiful home On my left, a gorgeous wedding In front of me I see something interesting It's a child, a boy, a man As the body changes, So does the face The hair is black, And then blonde Short, then long Finally it begins to slow As the face takes a final shape, The boy, man or child Begins to combine with all of the other pictures The love, the hate The pain, the pleasure The home, and the wedding The image solidifies at last As I see it, I begin to leave Rising from the depths, I begin to smile Finally, I leave smiling at what I saw Myself, within your eyes And within your dreams.
