Girl of my Dreams

Drifting through the night
Floating in the darkness
As I pass deeper
Images begin to appear
And with these images,
Feelings.
To my right
There is something dark and evil
I avert my eyes quickly
So as not to draw it any closer
As I turn
I see a faniliar vision
A warm sight filled with love,
But also pain.
I draw this image to me
And explore it more closely
I see candlelight dinners,
And Moonlight walks.
The first fight
And making up.
As I hold all of this,
And enjoy it with all of my heart,
I feel it begin to fade away.
Slowly, longingly,
I release it and return to wakefulness.
Opening my eyes, I'm surprised
For there it is again,
My vision.
Then I realize it is you,
The girl of my dreams
Who has come to visit me in my real life,
And love me,
While I love you.
