Cruise around the Southern half of Manhattan
Ellis Island. The first thing 19th century and early 20th
century immigrants would see when they arrived
From Ellis Island, They would stare at this:
They would stare for
hours on end, until it became that big in their eyes:
Then at some point,
they'd leave Ellis Island and see this.
Coming closer...
And closer: Downtown manhattan
They'd land here: Battery park, a charming little park, where
you can take the famous ferry to Staten Island:
Just beside this park
you can visit the American Indian Museum. The little that's in there tells a lot
about how adaptable these people have always been. Sure they even adapted to the
white man! Tough though...

A nice
"Brownstone" Building between Battery park and Brooklyn Bridge.

Still DOwntown, on the west side, on the Hudson river, The World Financial Center towers. Behind them stood the World
Trade Center towers.
The Woolworth Tower
between the WFC towers
Same from closer. The glass structure in front used to be the
entrance to the Twin Towers.
Some Tower I forgot the name of.....
Oooops! How did
that get in here? (garbage boat to some place off New Jersey)

Midtown waterfront on East River with Chrysler Tower:
UN Building on the same waterfront.
