Donegal:

This is Bunglass, near
Glencolumbcille, the western tip of Donegal looking west. It was 2 days after
Paddy's day '04 (March 17). I was there with my bro. He took snaps with a
throwaway camera, and I'm sure, they're much better than mine with my expensive
equipment. There was quite a gale, and the wind was so fierce we took
refuge in my car for a while. It felt like a mob was trying to topple my car!
Same spot, right of
previous pic. The place is actually more spectacular than the cliffs of Moher in
Clare. And higher. And that point I still hadn't realised I had put my grey
filter upside down. So only the lower part of the pic is darkened. Interesting
effect isn't it?
Lough Eske's western shore, 5 mile north of Donegal Town. Yes the
boat on the right has sunk. It couldn't take more gales I guess...
Now I don't know how I managed to take this pic. I can't remember
the weather being so bad on that day. Now people will think weather is alway bad
in this country. But remember: there is no such thing as bad weather, there is
only the wrong clothes!
Still lough Eske from the western shore.

Southern France, the Provence....
No, not really. It's still Donegal. I bet that for a while you were almost hearing the music for the Stella Artois ad!
Somewhere on the road between Bunglass and Killybegs, 5 minutes from Killybegs
