This is the basic storyline that the RPG goes along:

Setting: Gaia, 10 years after the events of FF9
The world of Gaia has been at peace now. The good regent Cid of Lindblum has updated the world with a good amount of technologies, such as rebuilding air travel completely with the new water based engine. King and Queen Tribal (Zidane and Garnet) of Alexandria, have helped to rebuild cities that the former queen destroyed with Eidolons like Odin. Zidane and the others lost their abilities over time, but Garnet lost her Eidolons another way. One night in Alexandria, a mysterious man snuck into her room, and performed a spell, casting out her Eidolons from her. The Burmecian and Cleyran's have been restocked with a home, as both their lands were returned to their former status. Mognet Central has returned to working order also (damn that Artemicion). So as stated earlier, everything is at peace.

10 years have come and gone, the battle against Kuja is now but a memory. New types of people are beginning to emerge. Such as is the summoner's return from the grave, many Summoners have appeared, and returned to Madain Sari. But now, there is a new type of people, strange and utterly mysterious. The Ankoyin. They represent the extremist opposite of Paladin's such as General Beatrix of Alexandria (who is now settled down and married to Adelbert Steiner).

The Ankoyin are a breed of people with ominous intentions. They have a misk of darkness about them, but they have so far only done good things. Not many people have come into contact with the Ankoyin. Only several of them venture out from their hidden home. And only a chosen few, non Ankoyin, know of the location of their origin.



Chapter 1: Evil arrived
Alexandria, Burmecia, Cleyra, and Lindblum. The four most dominant countries on the Mist Continent. They each thrive on one another for resources and ideals. But what was to happen if you slowly take each one down. One individual has done so, taken control of a Bahamut-like summon, this person has destroyed city after city. A group of 3 people watched the destruction, they are Sirius Vitale, Ky Kiske, and Chaonen Asia. Helpless but to watch the horror befold, they could do nothing. Eventually on arrival at Cleyra, on seperate time spans, they met the foe head on, fighting he/she in a battle with one of it's weaker pets, a silver dragon. The dragon was defeated by Chaonen, Sirius, and a black mage known as Kurayama. Soon the evil appeared, laughing before them, as if in triumph. Chow (Chaonen) as he got in closer, was able to pull the hood off of the mysterious figure, and reveal his true looks. What was to show? An exact duplicate of Sirius, with Sirius wondering what was going on... Who is this guy? What's the point of all this destruction? And how did he form out so much power?



Chapter 2: The curtain folds over
This mysterious figure now has an identity, and myterious ties towards Sirius Vitale. His name... Ankotenshi. A cocky and overconfident foe. He strives on destruction, and has a wild fascinaton towards extreme power. To strive towards this power, Ankotenshi fused with Sirius, to form a new type of power, Randin Betra. Along with his evil sidekick, Gran; they intend to destroy Gaia with four different types of Eidolons. All who have which put the four major cities (Burmecia, Alexandria, Lindblum, and Cleyra) in shambled. Will our hereos defeat these two power mongers AND these Eidolons? Find out in the next chapter...



Chapter 3: What is this?!...War!?
It seems that Randin's still up to no good but another new evil arrises in the heart of Gaia. Rumors of war has spread throughout Gaia, eventually causing mass hysteria until finally approaching preparations towards war. Alexandria was attacked by Lindblum?! Burmecia's attacking Cleyra? Alexandria and Treno are teaming up to topple over Regent Cid!? What the heck is going on!? And what is up with these hot headed Generals of each army? Where did they come from? No time to speak soldier, they'll drop you into the brig if they hear one word out of you.
Closure:
What an exciting chapter! So much has happened! Burmecia and Cleyra fueded, leaving thousands dead, and hardly any living. The survivors scurried off towards Lindblum to seek refuge.
Next we see that Ankotenshi took a large chunk out of Alexandria by destroying nearly the whole kingdom! But who's to blame!? LINDBLUM! The rumor spread like wildfire, why would Cid prepare for war when he's such a peaceful leader? Oh, right...Mystik! (Chaonen's wife) Took over secretly! Mystik brainwashed every soldier with the temptation to kill others. In the end...Lindblum was left in shambles, millions dead, and what do we realize as well? We fought for nothing. We were just blood stained puppets.

Mystik and Izagraiz
This being named Mystik seemed to have overpowered Randin on the evilness scale. This forced Randin to summon up four powerful Eidolons. Mystik and her pet Izagraiz soon dissapeared after leaving a mark on everyone's life. General Beatrix was killed in cold blood by a weapon called a 'gun'

Chapter 4: To Destroy Anti-Creation
As the war was forseen it had proceeded to the plans of the ominous being named "Mystik." Using Randin as a puppet to cause the war, she absorbed the souls of the deceased to become ultimately more powerful then even Randin himself. This was proven when Randin was nearly killed by her, and with ease. Our group of heroes quickly began formulating their next step, and by the decision of Ky it was decided. It was time to take out Randin, and get back Sirius. This could possibly pose the first positive stroke in gaining enough power to defeat Mystik. And so it was time to take care of those Eidolons first...

Thanks to the efforts of those who were brave enough to square off against these mystical creatures, Randin's plan to destroy Gaia has came to an end. Ankotenshi and Sirius has lost their fusion with Randin, and are now two seperate souls. Randin no longer exists...
