Clothes: Pale blue silkish tight revealing shirt, and a long flowy skirt. A lot of silver jewelly, including silver bell anklets, silver earrings, and silver armbands. Has a long, flowing, sheer pale blue skirt through which you can see her dark blue underwear/shorts. They're obviously meant to be seen, because they are fairly ornate, with embroidered designs. Wears a fairly large, dark blue headband with spiderweb looking designes on it. She has intense eye makeup, and blue starry designs drawn on her temples and eyes with makeup.
Personality: Quite nice and social, but a little bit cold and aloof. Ruthless with a good heart. Fun loving when she's drunk (which isn't very often, she prefers to keep a clear head.) Falls fairly easily into love- one could say that's a weakness of hers. She's a sucker for sweet talk and gifts. Working at a tavern that she co-owns, she gets a lot of men hitting on her, so as a result she's kind of picky when it comes to long-term deals. Tends to be a bit promiscuous.
Quote: "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance."
Origin:
Auri'joi was born and raised in Alexandria. Her parents were (and are) fairly upperclass, and always encouraged their Joy to be the best she could be. Auri'joi always had the best teachers, the best clothing, and the best dance instructors. It was as a spoiled brat that she was raised, but it never really went to her head. Her parents kept her grounded by teaching her morals and ideals to hold people up to. They taught her right from wrong, reasoning skills, and how to talk her way out of anything. She had a keen eye for business, but always wanted to be a performer of sorts.

Because Auri'joi's family was upper class Alexandrian, they were often invited to events at the castle. Dinners, concerts, competitions and plays. When Auri'joi was sixteen, she was invited to see a presentation of "I Want To Be Your Canary." This is what made her realize that she HAD to be on stage one day, or she would have a wasted life. After finding her calling, she quickly rushed home to see if she could even craft a story, let alone act it out. She wrote several plays, poems, songs and stories before her teachers told her that she was ready to start performing. On her seventeenth birthday, she performed a dancing and singing show for her close family and friends, which told a story of a girl growing old and venturing into the world. Fittingly with the song, months later she formed a travelling dance troupe which she took around the Mist continent. She left them for several weeks, to perform a breif solo stint in Esto Gaza. She met up with them again, to take their award winning show around for another year. When she turned 19, she decided to split off from the group for good.

She left to pursue a career in business, and after learning all she could at the Lindblum School of Business, she still craved to join the performing world. Auri'joi tried a revival solo act, but because of her stable job at a local bakery, it was hard for her to get time on the road. Nobody much cared for solo acts anymore, because the trends were turning towards more razzle dazzle. When she was in Esto Gaza a second time, visiting a friend, she went out to a tavern and witnessed a subtle performance as background music, and was impressed by the classy nature of the act. It reminded her of her old glory days, so when she got back to Lindblum she sent a message to an old coworker, Chase Dakota. Auri and Chase met up for tea, and formulated a plan to open up their own tavern/dance hall. By the time she was 21, she had a successful business establishment, close friends, a career she loved, skills as an artist, dancer, poet, storyteller, white mage and summoner, and was even skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Some people would think Auri'joi Nuveau had it all, but she still felt lonely and unfulfilled. She needed a cause. And that is where we find her now- a wondergirl with everything, wishing she could give it all up for just one taste of true love.
