Shasta Monacca grew up daughter of Lord and Lady Monacca and older sister of Baily. She had the richest family in all of treno. She and her brother had everything that they could ever want, except love from their parents. Shay would always comfort her little brother after the constant neglect of their parents. They were all each other had because their parents basically didn't know them. When Shay reached 8 years old, her parents shipped her without a thought to a bording school for talented summoners. She had to leave Baily which was the worst experience of her life. But soon she discovered what it was like to be a true summoner, and what it was like to be with summoners . Soon she forgot all about the snotty rich life she had before, the neglective parents, having no hopes and dreams for the future. She loved the jubilant feeling of summoning creatures to do her dirty work for her. The school is where she made her true friends. She had never had a friend. She was always locked up in her palace walls. She also met a boy named Mucertio when she was 13. They spent all their time together, at school, and for the first time(with the exception of Baily) she felt loved. She almost cried when he gave her a neckless that was written in rhinestones: U&IFOREVER. But another idea was racing in her mind. She wanted to see Baily more than any one else. By now Shay had turned 15 and was the greatest summoner in all of Sayla's Summoner school. With her abilities she would be able to travel the long distance to find her brother. Than she could care for him, for he was only 11. She decided to look up her grandmother in Alexandria. She knew the way. Now the question was did she want to stay,or did she want to leave the life she loved to go and find the brother she loved? She decided that she would have a wonderful life if Baily were in it. After a sad sorrowful good bye, to everone along with Mucertio, she set out to find her grandmother and Baily. Baily was suprised to see Shasta. Shasta found out that Baily had been left behind by his parents while they were conquering some other town. The brother and sister were re-united and can never be parted again.
