Kaya was born in a hidden village called "Lemon" on the Myst Continent. Her parents died when a band of "Dark Elves" attacked her village over a hundred years ago. She was raised by her grandfather. Of course Kaya's mentality is that of a 14 year old, as her race only ages 1/10th the speed of humans. Kaya has longed to leave the forest to explore the human world, but her grandfather, the elder of her village has forbidden anyone from leaving the forest. But Kaya does often play jokes on passing travelers in the forest, which is as far as she has traveled out of her village... until now.
