Originally born in Cleyra, where he was raised by his parents, Gaine and Clayrie. He got along well with his sisters, Shanntarra, Naigye, and Rubei. In the Asia family line, it was traditional to have the first born son become the warrior in the next generation. Unfortunately, the war between the Cleyran's and the Burmecian's grew...and Chaonen's father, Gaine was killed with honor, leaving Chaonen with a full house of woman...and no male influence. The war died down, and friendships regrew between families. Though, the Cleyran's continued to live in their mystic tree. After some time, the Asia family moved into Burmecia with welcome arms.
Years later...when Chaonen was 15.
It's unusual to see a fire in Burmecia, due to the eternal rain. But on this cold day, these weird looking creatures called Black Mages, attacked Burmecia. Killing many Burmecians with their magical powers. These Black Mages stormed into Chaonen's home, immediatly exterminating Rubei and Shanntarra. The black mages chased Naigye into her Mother's room, where Clayrie sits crying, unable to defend herself or her children. Luckily, Chaonen rushes in the room and kills off the threatening black mage.
Chaonen, his sister Naigye, his mother, Clayrie, and his girlfriend who's family was slaughtered, Mystik, quickly fled towards the nearest kingdom, Lindblum.
Over the period of time, Chaonen had married Mystik at the age of 20, and they both had children. Their daughters names are Calnique, and Sprite, plus a son named, Freedan.
At the age of 23, Freedan and Chaonen's wife, Mystik mysteriously dissapeared..leaving Chaonen at home with his mother, sister, and two daughters.
Strucken with depression and anger, Chaonen searched all over Lindblum right after he volunteered to become the Resident Guard of Lindblum. He had permission to go about anywhere in the kingdom. He never found his wife nor son.
Present Day
Chaonen's sister is presently taking care of Chaonen's daughter in Burmecia, since Chaonen has been busy lately defending Lindblum. Chaonen has been wanting to raise his daughter on his own, but his Mother thought he wasn't quite ready yet.
Chow also defends his Mother, since she has been depressed for quite awhile.
An opportunity for Chaonen to return to Burmecia has risen. Regent Cid requested that he follow the mysterious character named Sirius, and keep an eye out on him, to make sure Sirius doesn't cause any damage. Chaonen jumped to the opportunity to re-unite with his daughter, and he finally gets the chance to search the world for his lost love, and son.
