Cassidy was born in a cottage that her parents had built. When she was only a few months old, she became deathly ill, and after several days battling illness, her parents all but gave up hope. One night, on a very foggy evening, she made a miraculous recovery. Her parents nicknamed her hope.
When she was 4, she and her parents moved to Alexandria. Cassidy would often sneak out at night to watch the dancers and singers at the local louge. By the time she was 10, she too took up dancing, and on occasion singing. Cassidy has lived a rather uneventful life, and feels that their is a great emptiness in her soul. And she feels a deep longing for something, something of which she also does not know.
