| CELL-O is an educational workshop that infuses history with music. Elementary students learn both music history and lessons in beginning cello. This curriculum is designed for children ages 6-12. The program is geared for parents who have already invested in a � or � size cello for their child, and now need a private instructor. Students will learn the fundamentals in reading notes, bow position, form and technique for cello. They will receive a greater understanding of classical music by embarking on a musical odyssey that begins in the Baroque period, continues to spirituals sung during slavery and concludes with contemporary hip-hop. |
