| I remember sitting in a pub once and chatting to an aristocratic goth. He was having a rant about "wannabe goths" and how false they were. I've never heard such snobbery in my life! How else do goths become goths? we're all wannabe goths at some point and there's nothing wrong with that. If people are expressing an interest in what you're into, they shouldn't be made to feel bad! They should be encouraged NOT condemned. A wannabe goth will seek out other goths for reassurance and guidance. Not only that, they just want to speak to people with similar interests.
