Website Idea - Goal/Project Planning Website for Individuals

Summary - A website that allows users to make customizable goals or projects (depending which the user chooses). The website will provide many tools to the user to encourage or help the user progress on these tasks.

Content - The website will take details about a certain project or goal and will then (with the given information) provide many tools to the user to encourage or help the user progress on these tasks. One tool will be a graph showing "urgency" on one axis and "time needed to finish" on the other axis and will use the projects/goals as bullet points to show which are top priority. Another tool will be a progress bar or circle that will be updated by the user to show them how close they are to finishing their goals/projects. Another tool that will be designed for bigger projects/goals, will recommend the number of minutes or hours suggested to due each week, month, or day to get a goal or project completed by a certain time.

Competition - To be frank, my situation regarding competition is weird. Because the website I'm creating is intended for individuals so you might see me pointing out a competing website made for teams. Meister Task: The website is a little two wild and colorful for my taste and the website is made for teams instead of individuals. Have to purchase members ships or else you are limited with your tools. Hibox: While their style is visually appealing, the whole thing is based around teams and team projects. Goalify: Their design is stunning and I would definitely be writing stuff down to replicate their things, but the one problem I have with it is that you compare yourself with others, and I feel like some people get discouraged from their goals when they are comparing themselves with others. Lifetick: What looks to be a great individual goal/project planner, but it requires you to pay for a membership weekly for one dollar.

Purpose - The users should care about the focus of the website as it is a tool that they can utilize their entire life to help them plan. The whole point of the site is to be a tool that others can use to help users plan out goals or projects, without having to pay extra charges. The reason I want to build a site like this is that there isn't really any site that does what I'm looking for, because all the other sites require you to pay them, or are built for teams and group projects. Very few are built for individuals and most look made very poorly.

Desired Results - I hope that the users will use the site as a tool to help them either through multiple projects at school, work, or for personal use. The goal of the site is to be a site that others can utilize and help them plan ahead.

Target Audience - The people that will visit the site will probably vary as far as physical traits go, but one thing that they will probably have in common is one of the following: procrastination, poor planner, prioritizing the wrong things, or other problems falling around the came category. The website will be a tool for them to improve themselves to be more rounded or to use it as a planner.
