| BRAVO: How did you feel when the part as Legolas was offered to you? ORLI: It was like a win in the lottery.I always had to pinch myself.I didn`t believe it till I shot a few scenes.Then I startet to realise that I wasn`t dreaming. BRAVO: It was your first big role.Did it make you feel insecure? ORLI: Sure, on set I was a newcomer.All the others had made a lot of movies already.I came from the theatre and I had no idea how a big production works. In the first few days I learned how to handle a sword and bow and arrow. BRAVO: What was more difficult? ORLI: Shooting arrows.I got breathless the first days.But from time to time I improved it.At last I was so good that I even could hit paperplates that I threw into the air. BRAVO: Did you hurt yourself during making the movie? ORLI: Yes, I broke a rib BRAVO: What happened? ORLI(he isn`t sure if he should tell):You know I had to use bow and arrow even during riding the horse.And one time I fell down.But I didn`t let it put me down.I got up and went on.Somehow I`m not that lucky. BRAVO: Why? ORLI: I once broke my nose, one leg,and a toe.I was a wild one when I was younger and I had to try out everything. Once I even fell out of the window.I could have been dead.Now I`m more relaxt. BRAVO: Do you have something in common with Legolas? ORLI: Legolas is the son of elvenking Thranduil.He is a creature who always believes in goodnes.I am more realistic in that point. BRAVO: Well you also appear in the next two LOTR-movies. Are you allowed to tell us something about it? ORLI: In the second part I go chasing orcs with Aragorn and Gimli.But we can`t catch them.So we get help from Rohirrim.In the last part the Hobbits get back to their country.But Saruman has already made hisself comfortable there. BRAVO: Do you remember the first movie you were totally impressed of? ORLI: Superman.But my absolute favourite movie is Stand By Me.It`s about a few teenager who are looking for a body.This movie really got me into acting. BRAVO: Did you have other jobs before that? ORLI: I was 13 when I worked at a shooting-gallery BRAVO: Do you remember the first CD you ever bought? ORLI: That was Michael Jacksons Thriller BRAVO: And what was your first car? ORLI: A dark green VW-Golf, what only cost 250 Euro(It`s the same cost in US-Dollars) BRAVO: In Germany your next movie starts on April 11th. What part do you have in it? ORLI: A 18 year old soldier named Blackburn.He is sended to Somalia.During climbing out of the helicopter, they start shooting on it and I fall down. But don`t be afraid:I survive but my part is finished then. BRAVO: How did you get along with Josh Hartnett? ORLI: Very well.We`re planning to do a movie together for 2003. |
