I had your ego for breakfast

Its those shoes I wear that are two sizes too big
the hair that wears me
a daily blue comb rhapsody
through high strung strands that stole 15 minutes of sleep
the cloaks worn with a name thats not mine
but its good for me when its good for you and you and you
hello mirror on the wall
welcome to partially digested thoughts
latent talents I knew I had
modesty thats waiting to be humbled
spontaneity that was thought months before
had its act and shined a star
Today, I stumbled into your sights
at least it seemed
you needed light to see the dark
I saw you better with your searching bright
than you saw me within the night
and like a deer hyponotized as you drive towards me
like a porcelain doll stuck standing staring
at least I saw you
see me
