Personal Info: Drake Darkblade is a sword master, and an ex student of Master Keiron. Drake learns of an ancient legend by looking through Keiron's old scrolls, and takes on the Job of saving the realm by sacrificing a princess of noble blood and purity. The only problem is that the princess must be slaughtered by the power of the Onyx Star, and Shadow is the keeper. So Drake takes on the quest to track Shadow down and persuade her to help carry on the mission. Shadow of course accepts, not having much choice. Through all the dangers that Shadow and Drake face together, his feelings grow stronger and stronger for her. He saves her a few times, but just claims that he did it because he had to for the sake of the mission. He's very mysterious, and cold hearted. He is very much a lone wolf. He always mocks Shadow by addressing her as Deity as well. He denies any feelings for her, and whenever Shadow tries to get close to him, he pushes her away. There's a bit of a jealousy factor though, because Von is really jealous of Drake, and doesn't like him around Shadow.

Personal Info: Kaylia is the known as the Dark Empress of Imyrr City, in the heart of Hespearia. Kaylia was the one who formed the Kasuka Inc, and Lord Vulcan was the head of her millitary. Vulcan and her had sexual relations for several years and they were secret lovers. Kaylia took advantage of Vulcan, and knew he had gone mad since his wife died. She ordered him to complete the XD3 formula, and it was a project they had worked on for years and years. The actual creator of the formula was a man named Gean Darwing, who died before completing the formula. Vulcan took over what Gean had not finished. Anyway, Empress Kaylia is really Shadow's older sister, and Shadow Nightwind's real name is Mikaru. Shadow's birth parents, the King and Queen of Hespearia separated Kaylia and Mikaru because when Queen Adella was pregnant with Mikaru, she was told by Keiron's father ( a minister) that she would give birth to two girls, and then one of them would be of light, and the other child would hold great evil within. They passed the child off to a farmer and his wife then, and they took care of her. Shadow's other father died in a battle though, and her mother became so depressed that she starved herself and died of illness. So Kaylia and Shadow ( Mikaru) grew up never knowing eachother. Kaylia started off a very sweet princess, but then one day she became possed by an evil spirit, and she put her old father and mother to death. Shadow was never truly evil, and any trace of darkness in her was gone when the Onyx Star was awakened. As for Kaylia, she had always known that Shadow was her sister, and she purposely had her injected with the XD3, not thinking it would actually work, and had hoped it would kill her.
The Sisters of Akayla Valley are a quartet of evil guardians that protect Akayla Valley's Temple. The are an extremely dangerous group, and are not to be reconed with.
