Deep in my heart,
A crystal tear falls.
I wake suddenly,
For a voice calls�
I protect the serenity,
Still, in its tranquility.
My green eyes close,
As my story unfolds�
Sent to earth on a fateful day,
A menace, a savior are what some say.
A beacon of hope and light,
Only noticed during the fight�
My scarred and battered past,
Is a mystery to all.
But here today, at last,
My future, to all, is told�
An eternal flame burns in our heart,
Never forgetting, always praying,
Now is the time to start,
Count the blessings of your soul�
A shooting star in the dark sky,
I diminish into the heavens.
No matter what happens way up high,
I remember, always, my life torn apart by war�
