Rhapsody

Rhapsody is an RPG game that is once again focused on female audiances. It's the story of a young 16-year-old girl named Cornet who was born with this strange ability to talk to puppets, and plays a magical horn handed down from her mother (?). Always with her is a talking puppet named Kururu, who helps Cornet in many ways (but is usually just the cheerleader on the sidelines when Cornet is in a battle).But anyway, like most girls, she dreams of her prince charming, and meets him (well, gets saved by him) when a girl named Myao with cat ears and tail appears with a band of Nyankos (cats) following her and attacks Cornet with this dragon pet of hers. Then out of nowhere a cutey-pie jumps out and slays the dragon, ticking off Myao. Then Cornet finds out her cutey-pie turns out to be none other than Prince Ferdinand. So she enters a contest to be a bridal canidate for the Prince, but right when she opens her mouth to tell the Prince of her feelings for him, something crashes into the castle, making the Prince running off to find out what it was. Cornet chases after him to find that Myao and some more goons with her crashed into the wall of the ballroom on another dragon. Turns out, Myao, a manly-like girl Gao, and a girl Crowdia with crow wings have come with their master Marjoly- supposidly the most powerful sorceress in the kingdom- have come to teach Ferdinand a lesson for picking on Myao. But one look at the Prince, and Marjoly goes ga-ga over him, and tries to put a sleeping spell on him to take him away, but she uses the wrong spell that turned him to stone! Marjoly and her "servants" take the Prince away after knocking Cornet out cold, so now it's up to Cornet and her puppet friend Kururu to rescue and revive her true love. Through her journey she gets help from unusual puppets and a snobby rich girl named Etoile who she was once a friend with while a child, but now they're more like rivals. Will she prevail and win the heart of her beloved, or will Marjoly have her ways and marry the Prince herself? The story line lays in the palms of your hands.....

Cornet of Orange Village

Cornet is a normal peasant teenager just like any other. But what sets her apart from others? Her courage to do the impossible; her will to succeed, her ability to communicate with puppets by playing her magical horn; her best friend being a talking puppet? All of the above! But when a contest sets into the capital to choose 1 girl to be the Prince's canidate for bride, Cornet gets her opportunity to prove her love for him. Competing with her rich rival Etoile, Cornet passes three tests and both she AND Etoile become the victors! But their victory is cut short when Marjoly the mighty sorceress turns the Prince to stone and steals him away (but doesn't know how to bring him back to life). Now Cornet is set on a journey to collect the cure and battle the aweful sorceress!

Kururu

For the longest of time, Kururu has been Cornet's cunning companion. She's not always what you'd think she's cracked up to be, but her talents can surprise you! Unlike other puppets, Kururu can talk, fly, and even have feelings and emotions! Although abnoctious at times, she really has a kind heart, but won't ever go into battle, not even when Cornet's life is on the line (you could call her the cheerleader!). But Kururu hides an ancient secret behind her carefree spirit.

Etoile of Mothergreen

To put it short, she's a rich snob. She USE TO be Cornet's best friend and a peasant, but once her family went up the social ladder, so did her attitude. Etoile cares little for men, but more for money. In truth, she depends on money for everything. But when Cornet is in trouble, Etoile is there to help, but with an excuse like, "i'm just getting revenge for what Marjoly did back to be at the castle". Etoile acts stubborn and snobby, only to hide her true caring and kind friendship for Cornet.

Prince Ferdinand of Mothergreen

Son to the Queen, he's every girl's dream, even Marjoly's! While Cornet was gathering Inotonium in the Wonder Woods, Myao, on of Majoly's minions attacked Cornet with her dragon so it was up to him to save her. After that it was pretty much dowhill. During the contest he didn't realy recognize her, that is until they danced together at the ball. Later at the balcony he tried to tell her how he felt toward her, but never got the chance with Marjoly "busting in" on them and scaring people off. He attacked her but it was of no use. Once Marjoly got a look at his face she tried putting a sleep spell on him which instead turned him to stone, kidnapping him, she took him to her castle to fine a cure, with no use...now his only hope for living again rests with Cornet, his love.
