What is TAP? TAP is short for "The Amlie Project". TAP was born one rainy, gloomy day while watching Amlie (the movie). In the movie, Amlie writes a quote by the author on a wall, which makes him happy. TAP is a very simple idea, and very easy to do. Take some post-it notes, small cards or whatever you have lying around, grab a pen, find some quotes and start writing. Next step is the most fun one. You go somewhere, to a bookshop or so, and put some cards/notes there. Voila.

Do I have to leave the card/note in a bookshop? No, not at all. A train, a TV-screen, an airport, anything works. Although, if your city/dropout place is filled with idiots, bookshops might be the only place where someone who might appreciate it will find it.

Where do I find any quotes? Here are some links: Bartleby Quotations The Quotations Page Literary Quotes at LJ And try your local library, at home, in textbooks from school (you'd be amazed at what you can find once you open the book), or perhaps you'll find one of these cards. Who knows?

How many cards/notes do I need to make each day? That's up to you. I usually do two big batches each week, I rarely get the time to put them all out.
