This page is a little different then our usual ones,
you see as we travel down life's path
sometimes we get hit with situations
that one only reads about in the newspaper,
the kind that never happen to us.
Unfortunately this is such a fallacy,
because you never know when the ugliness
of the world is going to come
crashing into your world.
All you can do when it does,
is deal with it,
in the only way you know how to.
You will have to find the strength
deep down inside yourself, in the part you
never knew existed, to pool all your life
skills together to get through each day,
sometimes one minute at a time.

It's in times like these that your friends,
family and soul mates truly do save you.
You lean on people, when leaning isn't
something that comes naturally.
It's with their love and
support that you make it through.

So I dedicate this page,
and these songs to my family,
Sid, Mel, Dianne, Janice, Mom & Dad
you have been so supportive
and loving through this,
has meant the world to us.

To my Ed,
my soul mate, my life partner,
baby without you I know I wouldn't
be where I am today, your love and support,
for the kids and me,
means more to me then you will ever know,
or more then I could ever say

to Sharon,
who is truly my twin,
my best friend in this whole world,
I don't know if you have any idea
of what this story you sent meant to me.
It truly touched my heart.
It made me smile and cry,
when I didn't think I could
do either anymore.

so I hope you don't mind my friend,
but I had to share it with everyone.
I love you bestests,
more then I could ever show you.

Thank you all, and I know that a simple "Thank You" will never show you the love that I hold in my heart and soul for all you.

All my love, always

TWENTY DOLLAR BILL

A well known speaker started off
his seminar by holding up a $20 bill.
In a room of 200, he asked,
"Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this $20
to one of you
but first, let me do this."

He proceeded to crumple the bill up.
He then asked,
"Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "what if I do this?"
And he dropped it on the ground
and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.
"Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you
still wanted it because it did not decrease in value.
It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped,
crumpled, and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we make and the
circumstances that come our way.
We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened
or what will happen,
you will never lose your value in God's eyes.
To Him, dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased,
you are still priceless.

The worth of our lives comes not in
what we do or who we know
but by WHO WE ARE!
You are special - Don't ever forget it!

These songs are by a canadian singer,
by the name of Susan Aglukark from
Northern Canada and her music
truly brings chills down my spine.
I hope you enjoy her music as much as I do.
These are from her album called "THIS CHILD"
I have added some of my favorites from it
