I meet new people and also learn a lot about others and myself at the Rope Course.

Sometimes working in a team with people who you do not know, we are afraid to trust others, but as we are afraid may be people who are around me are afraid too. Sometimes we need do the first step and have confidence about ourselves. It does not matter that we do not speak well the language just do our best. That’s a really good way to meet new people who are going to work and share knowledge with you.

Have a unique symbol, cheer or something else which identifies a team. It likes our last name; we feel part of a family, part of a team. When a member of the family or team fall down and no body helps every fall down too, it’s because we are united one to each other with an invisible bond or with our leader’s duties. It’s really important take care your team as you would to take care a member of your family.

When we are the head of our team, we have a big responsibility in our shoulder as we learned in the Rope Course that sometimes the leader is the eye of the team. The head is the first one who see the obstacle and also the first one who is going to confront and guide the rest of the team. Sometimes new members are like blind in the team because he or she may or may not know what is going on the team. In a team we need remember trust is really important.

During the Rope Course I noticed that we are different, however at the same time we are equal. It does not important our race, religion, color, age, etc. we all have fears, strong points, weak points, interested, same for the president same for the members, we are all human. Sometimes things looks impossible as when we were up in the tree and need to walk thought the rope, but we just need to believe in ourselves, like Gabriel did. Always remember “Just do it.” When we have a change, we should not miss it because we do not know when is going to be the next one, how long can we wait? We are not going to leave forever.

I will always encourage people to be in the ASFC, or participate in ASFC’s events. I have a clear picture about the head of a team, as a leader in my club, and how does the new members feel, like blind person. I understand more about team work, cooperation, listening and speaking up. I used what I have learned during my life. Right now that I learned more about leadership, this skill is going to spread out through my clubs, and then them to others. Believe always in ourselves even it seems impossible, trying won’t lost anything. Sometimes we need do the first step even we are not the leader.
