| Who are we and why are we searching for those ponies? My name is Klara Moschner and eleven years ago I fell in love with a pony named Aku. He was my everything for two years but then I sadly lost track of him, but that did not mean that I forgot about him. Each and every years I tried to find him, I posted adds in magazines and searched the Internet, over and over again, but with no luck. Id given up hope to find him alive when someone finally recognized him and I came in contact with his new owner Emelie Tolln.Emelie turned out to be a really nice girl and together we become interested in Akus (now named Acco) special history. I told her what I knew about him and vice versa and we decided to track every trace we had, starting to call up former owners etc. We took contact with a Ingrid Roth, an Estonian girl who had access to Estonian Stud Books, she looked for AKU 632E and found out that it could not be our pony. The real AKU was dark red with darker mane and tail our pony is yellow with white/grey mane. At this point we had found out who imported those ponies and after talking to him on the phone, he confirmed that he had mixed up their papers. We realised that the only way to find our ponys REAL identity was to find the other four ponies and translate their papers.... From the beginning we had almost nothing to go on, but Mr. Peterzn (the importer) gave us some information he remembered and the BIG SEARCH started. We have now found two out of four, (both diseased) but were still waiting for copies of their papers to return. So, thats the story and also the reason we are so keen to find these ponies, so if you know ANYTHING, please contact us. [email protected] Thank you for taking your time /Klara and Emelie |

| A Short Recap: Follow the links to see more details The ponies were born in Estonia between 1984-87 and a few years later sold to Russia. Summer of 1991 they all were placed (an maybe owned) by MWK N1, a big equestrian centre outside Moscow. That summer, Claes Peterzn from Sweden went to Russia to buy horses, and they ended up buying 5 ponies and 2 horses. Due to the political situation in Russia at the moment, the export of the horses was delayed and they did not come to Sweden until the beginning of 1992. Mr. Peterzn took the horses to his farm in Vnersborg and sold them on to various places in Sweden. All of the ponies had stud papers/pedigrees but since Mr. Peterzn did not know any Russian, he could not translate them and give them to the right pony so he decided just to give each pony a random paper. We know that at least two of the ponies got the wrong papers, but its a big chance that all of them were mixed up. |
