The music in this movie really struck me. It's function gave a strengthening saturation and automatically an expression of certain moments.
My friends and I described the music as 'melancholic' and 'sad' and 'down'. Ofcourse there are many kinds of music fitting these words, like 'country-music'. But the music in this movie is different in this way that it is sorta monotone, slow, with mostly 'electric' sound effects. One band who wrote a song for this movie is 'Air' with 'Alone in Kyoto'. I always loved this band because of it's typical sound, and the song was just beautiful in the movie -also without ofcourse!! Another good song I want to mention is 'Death in Vegas' with 'Girls'. In some way the sounds reminds me of the 80's
