I just arrived home from Mt hood Last weekend!
Awesome time I had! The snow as usuall always amazes me everytime on how beautiful it is!
Huge hunks of it like cake frosting icing the ground in the woods all around. I took a lot of photos of the snow and Glori and the kids and...Jake..my silly brother in law.
We Sledded, I explored the wood and took a lot of photos like I said earlier and filmed a little.

The best thing of all though is that I got to build another Snow Princess! I also got to get my picture taken with her in the most beautiful forest grove spot. I selected this spot to put her in before I built her because my previous Snow Princess from last year (In my opinion) didn't get to stand in a very pretty background. So I made sure that this time I wouldn't disapiont her. =)

I will have my Mt. Hood photos up soon for all of you to see. One of these days I'll get a movie up. I don't know how to do that yet.

At the cabin on Mt hood we stayed in, we played games, watched movies, roasted marshmellows and made them into smores! mmmmmmmm!!! I took more and more pictures until my oldest niece named antoinette got a hold of my camera and decided to use it too. Okay, I know you all get it photos photos and more photos! =)

I saw a baby ice cave that looks like little crystals in a geode. Unfortunatly I didn't get a picture of that but did get pictures just as pretty. Next year I'll atleast try to get the baby ice cave if I get the oppertunity. =)

I also saw a little frozen creek and I actually stepped on the Ice and it didn't crack of break! It was perfect! aI wish it had been bigger and I had Ice skates and could figure skate.........(dreamy sigh) That would be cool.....=)

My two nieces, Booki and Sadye sled down the hill on to snow discs the round snow boards you know those things?

They put them side by side, booki sat in the front facing Sadye who sat in the back, so booki was sitting backwards and Sadye was sitting forward. when that bounced and sledded down the hill sitting this way on the first time, they suddenly spun around in a circle like a maragoround! It was so cute! I helped raise these two since the were babies and watching them do that brought back the days of old when the were yiddle. I didn't get that run, on my camcorder but I did get them and Glori and Jake on different time sledding "The Train" I also was filmed doing "The train" at one time with Booki and Sadye.

On the first day at the cabin when we came back from playing in the snow, I had a cup of earl gray tea and the girls had hot chocolate brought to us by Jake (thank you Jake) while we watched the new Narnia movie. I had my tea brought to me in time to join Lucy and Mister Tomnus. What a perfect timing! The cabin itself that is the area where I was sitting, reminded me of Mr. Tomnus's House. It's got a stone wall with a fire place at the bottom. there was a carascene lamp on the table in fron't of us and the fireplace had a fire crackling away. I felt cozy and as if I too had entered another world as I watched Narnia after coming back from the snowing forest that look very much like Narnia. =)

I loved that! I also enjoyed playing sardenes in the dark. We do this every year, where we turn off all the lights off then one of us can hide anywhere, I sat in a chair at the dinningroom table one year and no one found me for the longest time. After a while I was trying so hard not to laugh loud enough to be heard. I just cracked up. Glori found me instantly after she heard my quiet muffled laugh from down stairs. That time Jake thought he had found me and hid, one by one the others hid with him until glori found them last, then they all relized that I wasn't there! (laughing) The minute Glori started talking about it and they all started laughing. Glori heard my quiet muffled laugh downstairs and hide with me before the others found me. Jake was the last one to find us. Glori has this contagious laughing that happens when we play sardenes especially when she and I team up. I start laughing because she is! I don't get it! Even to this day!

This year I hid behind the door in booki and Sadye's room and nobody found me at all. while I was hiding, Glori said that she would give me a medal for the best hider. Booki and Sadye kept saying that the new where I was and ran into things giggling and asking me where I was (laughing) I got a second chance to hide in the same spot because Glori, Sadye and Booki insisted that I would give them a second chance to find me. Sadye and Booki were telling me that they new where I hid. I just smiled, "we'll see" I'm happy to say that the second night we played sardenes, they found me! So I didn't have to swet forever behind the door like last time when I was there for what seemed like 45 min! I was so happy that I could be found.

I kept finding people last a lot, I don't know of one time this year that I actually got to hide with some one! This is the first time in history that I've played a game like that! wierd!

I listened to my new CD, Listen by Michelle Tumes, during my vacation. Glori and I really enjoy her music! It's very dreamy, celtic, and peaceful. It was perfect during the car rides looking out the window at all the pine trees and woodsey scenic places.
I felt as if I was adventuring to another world.....

I also felt that God was with me, watching over me on this trip and blessing me. I felt sacurety with him especially and much love for him for taking care of me. Thank you Lord. =)
