The weirdest thing is happening over here today on New Years Eve. The moon happens to be in the sky in the broad daylight and it's a full moon. It's 3:45 right now and the moon has been showing for about a half hour since I first noticed it. For this to happen on New years Eve is quite facinating don't you agree?

We have family visiting our house right now and friends will be showing up later. Tonight I'm going over to my sisters house for our annual New Years Eve Party. We will have games, candle light New Years wishes, Rudolf Shiny New Year Movie, Food, AND THE COUNTDOWN!!!!!!!!

Sometimes we record on Sadyes taperecorder about the new year and record the countdown. We recorded the new millenium on our very first new years tape ever created. I still listen to it now and then. It has the best countdown I've ever heard on any of our tapes we've made. You can hear fireworks in the distance and us banging pots and pans and ofcours showting "Happy New MILLENIUM!!!!!!!!"

This year we might record a tape but we don't know yet. I made some old maid cards of our family as the nursery ryhm Characters for my family two Christmases ago. Ever since my sister Gloriana, Her daughter Sadye, Her husband Jake, and I has plaid with them every new years eve. We have so much fun!

When we do the candle light new years wishes, Glori makes candles inside walnut shells and fills up water in a rectangle cake pan. Then she put eluminem foil inside the pan all over and then decorates it with marbles and colored stones. Then each us takes a walnut shell, lighted candle, makes a wish for the new year, and floats it in the pan. When we're all done a lovley display is seen....like in the Tausha Tudar books.
When the candle go out on their own, our wishes are on there way to coming true. That's one of my favorite things we do.
