Today my nieces and nephews are visiting and I'm watching my youngest niece who is almost 2 in a half now!
She's getting so BIG. She's talking more and more by the minute!

Thanksgiving is Coming!!!!! I'm so excited to dig into that delicious feast!

On Thanksgiving, our family does something special as a Thanksgiving tradition. We all write thankful lists and sit around in the living room and share them with each other. Each family member reads out what there thankful for. We think about all the great things that happend to us this year and also the things that are always thankful for, like are family and having God with us in our lives blessing us.

Every Thanksgiving I have a little tradition of my own. I try to dress up like an indian every year or atleast wear two french braids if nothing else. I've dressed as an indian since I was little because when I use to go to school at that time. My class would dress up as pilgrims and indians put on a play for the kindergarden and first grade who had vegetable soup for us and we had I think bread for them. On some years we were the indians and they were the pilgrims and we would each bring food to share just as the real pilgrims and indians did on the very first thanksgiving.

So to this day I still wear braids and an indian hat on Thanksgiving. I've gotten some of my nieces and nephews to do so too.

Happy ThanksGiving Everyone,

God bless you all!!!!

P.s.
What are you thanksful for? =)
