Entry for August 13, 2006 Oceanside Beach ![]() I'm back!!!!
I had a "loverly" time! I got tons of inspiration for my story out there. There are so many trees and flowers and outdoor places to go it's beautiful. I took A LOT of art photos for my story and website. It's so exciting what beautiful places God can put into your imagination! I saw so many beautidul things that I can't to make them with my art photos I took. I will be posting them up on my web site one by one no matter how long it takes. I had so much fun being there with all the fresh air and beautiful places. Our cabin we stayed in is mostly made up of beautiful wooden walls even in the up stairs hallway! I went to the latte place thee times with My Mommy! I took great pictures of two beautiful pisms stung with beeds of different colors hanging in one of the windows. There were more of those all over the shop. The first day My Mother and I went to the latte place, I bought a really woodland, celtic looking, hand made, pottery mug for $20. I was worth every penny! It's so cozy and it's big and brown with burnt spots on it and wavy diagnal lines all around the uotside of it. It made me think of a delicious waffle with syrup it could almost taste it as I gazed at the mug on the shelf before I brought it. My Mom and I have been reading "Passedges" by Paul Mckusker. It's a fantacy and Adventure series with stories that relate to the bible except in a different land with different poeple. The land in all the books is called Myris and in every book a kid and kids from our world, some how mysteriously appear there to help fuffill a prophacy. I most of the stories the kids eyes become two different colors when they arrive which in that world is the mark of a voice for the "Unseen One " who is God. The stories are very exciting! We read the second to the last book all the way to the end while we were at Oceanside, and stared the last book before we came home. We still have more fun to read before we finish. Yea!!!!! The best part od my trip though was finding HUGE GEODES by the Lost Boy Cave! The ones I mostly found this year were pink geodes called Rose Quarts. They are so sparkly!, even when the sun is not shining on them. I also got a Rose quart with etra chipped off pecies from my niece Brenna who got the boyfriend of my oldest niece to hack, hammer and chizle this humungus Rose Quart out of a rock but couldn't because it was too big, so instead, he got a bunch of it out in pieces! Brenna kept the biggest piece and handen the extras to most of the family or all the family. The piece I got is only the rose quarts, no rock attached to it at all, pretty cool huh? I also got little yellow and gold geodes on two kind of big, rocks and some white geodes too. Mac if you read this I got a geode for you too since you told me you love exploreing caves and finding things like this. We walked around the point, hung out on the beach, I took more photos. I got some great photos with tide in on the Lost Boy Cave. I've always taken it mostly when the tade is low or far out of the cave so it's nice to have this picture with the ocean splashing into the cave. I never got to enter the cave on this trip but me and my parents are foing back to Oceanside in October at a time when the tide is low and I'll definitly be there in that cave Lord willing. I'm very determined to get a change to get in this year. It's one of my main favorite places to go when we're on vacation and I just can't miss out! We had a bond fire 2 nights last week at Oceanside. We roasted marshmellows and talked and sung not very much but we did manage to fuffill the tradition except with out my Dad and his guitar naughty naughty. Next year I'm going take action and make sure he does it at least one of the bondfire nights since he didn't do it at all this year. tisk tisk tisk tsik tisk... We played "pictionary" on our last night and earlier in the week me and my second niece Sadye played "pente" a favorite game that we play every year! I also got to play the piano that is at our cabin. I played "The Singing Mermaid", "Pachabell Canon", "Ave Maria" and many others, but most of all I composed a new song while I was at the piano one day that was inspired from the beautful God given picrures in my imagination for my story so this song is also a part of it too. I will be recording it into my studio after I finish writing it. There are a lot of places I didn't have the plesure of seeing on this trip so when we retern in October I plan to make up for that and go see them. =) I must sign off for now it is 9:09 at night and I've been writing for an hour! I'll shall write again soon! until next time, ...Shorah which is the D'ni word for Greetings and for Good bye.....in the Myst games... God Bless you all, -Esther 2006-08-14 04:11:31 GMT
