playing fair!
"CLEO"
This pattern
was derived from a pattern by Sue Harrison. I think she calls it
"Fiesta." She made me an incredible pair of earrings, and I designed
this pendant to go with them. The pattern and the colors remind me
of ancient Egypt, the river, and the glamour of Cleopatra. Hence the name.

"One
From the Heart"
One of my
earliest patterns, charted on beading graph paper, it came out much bigger
than I envisioned. If you make this one, you might want to go smaller.
It is a classic
design, and would look good in any color combination. This one was
pinks, so i used hearts in the fringe and strap. But why not try
green beads with leaves, or blue beads with stars? Or.... or....
or.....

"Running"
This was actually
a sampler, to figure out the count on various versions of this endless
running pattern. It looked kind of cool, so I played with the colors and
named it.
The picture
to the right is the project which resulted. Sorry the colors didn't
come out well in the photo.
It
was a gift from me to Linda Westfall, in our Prodigy Secret Pal Swap. |

"Mesa"
This pattern was created for a group project, where each of us submitted
a small square, and we pieced them all together into a hatband pattern.
I believe Chris Philips actually beaded the whole beautiful thing.
My part by itself would make a cute little amulet purse. |
