Question #1:
When did you become a Christian and why?
I became a christian when i was a kid. When I was less than 10 years old, I would keep thinking, what happens when I die? And I would get so scared because I thought that I would just sleep forever, and like FOREVER is scary. I wouldn't see my friends again. I would do ANYTHING again. Then my neighbours invited our family to church. I always believed in God, but I didn't know about Jesus. So I kept going to church for many years to learn about him. I can't pinpoint an exact time when I officially became christian, but one time I watched this movie about the Jesus story, and at the end of it, I prayed a prayer to invite Jesus into my heart.

Question #2:
How has your life changed ever since? Or how would your life be different if you weren't a Christian?
If I weren't a Christian I would be so depressed. Life would seem rather pointless to me. Without God, I would strive for material things, which do not last. Because I am Chrsitian, I strive for eternal things, such as evangelizing to help more people find Jesus and fellowship with God.

Question #3:
How has God been real to you? Or how do you know that God exists?

God answers my prayers. There are times when I am really frightened, and I turn to God, and then I feel safe. The words of the bible prove relevant and truer than any wisdom a person could offer. The bible contains many, many promises from God, and none of them has ever failed to hold for me yet.

Question #4:
What is your favourite verse and why?

Currently it's Matthew 19:14 - Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
The kingdom of heaven belongs to children. I believe that a child will have more faith than any grown up. Children don't ask questions. Children simply believe those they trust. I wish I could become a child again, my faith would be so much stronger.

Question #5:
How have you struggled spiritually?
There are times when I don't talk to God. I don't pray sincerely, and I don't read the bible. Everything just falls apart when that happens.

Question #6:
What is the most challenging aspect about being a Christian?
The most challenging thing for me is to battle daily temptations. Even though they may be little things, there still occur everyday. I just get worn out very easily.

Question #7:
What is the best thing about being a Christian?

This question is easy. The best thing about being Christian is that many old fears are gone. I do not fear death, or disabilty, or poverty, or many other things I used to worry about, because I know that God is faithful. Some say that people make up religion as a way of coping with these fears, but I don't buy that argument.

Question #8:
Describe your relationship with God.
Whatever conscious actions I make, immediately my mind turns to God to see if he approves or disapproves. Whatever thoughts I choose to think about, immediatly my mind turns to God to see if it is acceptable or not. Basically, God is always telling me if, at that moment, I am living as a Christian should, or if I am not. Sometimes I will succeed in obeying God, and other times I fail, but God forgives me, and we try again.

Question #9:
Who is Jesus to you?
Jesus is the saviour of my soul. I have sinned much, and will sin much more. Jesus lived 2004 years ago, was the son of God, and suffered the penalty of death for MY sins, so that I would be holy before God, and able to enter his kingdom.

Question #10:
Have you ever doubted your beliefs?
Not really. I've never doubted the bible, though different people interpret the bible in different ways. Arguments from my atheist peers never bother me at all. The main thing that does concern me is Christianity's rejection of beliefs found in other religions. Many doctrines from the other major religions make perfect sense to me. Why don't I believe in them?

Question #11:
What strengthens you spiritually?
Frodo: I can't do this Sam.
Sam: I know. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't even want to know the end, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going, because they were holding on to something.
Frodo: What are we holding on to Sam?
Sam: That there is some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth fighting for.

Question #12:
What does being a Christian entail?
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your sould and with all your mind and with all your strength. Love your neighbour as yourself.

Question #13:
Do you have any prayer requests?
Just pray for me in general. It's comforting enough for me to know that there are always people praying for me. Thanks.

Question #14:
If you could send a message to someone who is exploring Christianity, what would it be?
I guess I would go back to questions 4. To the person exploring Christianity: I urge you to explore it with the attiitude of a CHILD.
