Question #1:
When did you become a Christian and why?
I became a Christian on November 18th 1998 at Acquire the Fire (a big youth conference in Hamilton). I became a Christian because I couldn't handle life on my own anymore.

How has your life changed ever since?
My life has completely turned around since I became a Christian. I found hope in the midst of despair, and strength when I was too weak to move. Circumstances didn't change, but how I reacted to them did.
Question #3:
What is your favourite verse and why?
My favourite verse has been Isaiah 40:29-31 since before I became a Christian. It says "Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint". This is my favourite verse because no matter how down I am, if I hope in God, He will lift me up.

How have you struggled spiritually?
I still struggle alot with depression and knowing God's purpose for my life

What is the most challenging aspect about being a Christian?
Being a Christian around people who aren't, and keeping my values with so much pressure to change them.

What is the best thing about being a Christian?
Being a Christian is the best part of being a Christian, having God in my life, and the people He has placed there, my friends are the best.

Describe your relationship with God.
Not as close as it should be, but getting closer and better everyday, the more time i spend with God.

Who is Jesus to you?
My Best friend, lover of my soul, Prince of Peace out of all the cliche's. Calmer of the Storm that is my life.

Have you ever doubted your beliefs?
Yes.

What strengthens you spiritually?
Reading my Bible, spending time in prayer, being around my awesome Christian friends.

What does being a Christian entail?
Following God with all your heart, mind and soul, seeking His will for you, and spreading His word.

Do you have any prayer requests?
I need a good summer job if I want to be back at Trent next year (which i do). and my cousin Ben who is home, and walking, recovering from his treatment for the rare form of brain cancer he has.
Question #13:
If you could send a message to someone who is exploring Christianity, what would it be?
Seek and you shall find, you will find God when you seek Him with all your heart.
