ILACO totally proficient gym mattresses!

Known for their quality Gym mattresses, ILACO was worried what to do with the surplus cuts of vinyl left at the end of the manufacturing process.

For years they kept the endless strips of cuts, not liking the idea of throwing them away and the stuff ending in a landfill when it could be more useful somewhere else.

Suddenly, one day, an idea took shape: "Hey, why not design a mattress with the smaller, surplus strips instead of using the more expensive new vinyl?" And thus the economic model was born. The same quality, consistence and, (did we say quality?) toughness of the original mattress product. Way to go!

ILACO SUPER BAG!

• You can make wonderful shoelaces with it. But who could want ten tons of shoelaces, then?
• You can microwave it, sprinkle some cheese on it and enjoy!
• Sewing the strips together made beautifully color designed body bags. Specially useful for those who ate two pounds of it. (Microwaved and cheese-sprinkled).

When the designers were fed with finding extra uses for the narrow strips, they arranged them on the shape of nooses and when they began tying them to a ceiling beam, somehow, the body bag concept and the nooses stuck together and, voila! the SUPER BAG WAS BORN!

And you should see it! They are tough as nails and I found them useful to do shopping, lug around eighty pound of cardboard to the recycling center, carrying stones and heavy stuff (and sometimes still useful as body bags).

ILACO's aerobic matresses!

They're still at it! This update is to inform you that ILACO has added another wonderful recycled by-product to their line of garbage. These incredible mattresses have hundreds of uses besides the one they were intended for. See how easy it is to carry them around! They're foldable! Use them at the beach! Take them for camping nights! They don't slice! They don't dice! (Sorry about that!)

All kidding aside, it's great to see people manufacturing stuff with other stuff that would just sit in a garbage dump and un-rot there for eternity. For this strong plastic fabric just won't go away! It's the same material used in ILACO matresses and the super bags.
