This
prototype arises for direct mandate of Hitler who arranges the
creation of an armoured vehicle to overcome the Soviet models
(KV-1 and T-34) that were acting in the East Front. Thus the StuG
III Ausf F arises, were produced several series of that, from
the A until the E. Each of them was gotten with bigger armour
with regard to the previous one.
Besides there joined a long cannon that
was substituting the short version of the previous model and a
ventilator was added to expel the smokes of the cannon, among
other changes. All this helped to turn this model in one of the
most effective in the field of battle. The design flattened of
its body was one of its principal advantages.
