He-111H The most successful model of the series HE 111 was the H, which entered service in 1939. There were made of those 6.150 units of different versions. Derivative of the prototype HE 111P, it was incorporating as innovation both engines Junkers Jumo 211 and some technical characteristics that it were providing with a bigger movement and more power.

Besides, it was provided with a bigger tank of fuel, an armament so much offensively as more complete protection and a more effective shielding, which was making it suitable for very different missions as the assault against ships - what was demonstrated in the blockade against England-, parachutists-throwing, the throwing missile or the tow of gliders. When it entered service the giant glider Messerschmitt ME 321 began to make the model HE 111Z, actually the union of two fuselages of the models HE 111H-6 or H-16 that were incorporating a fifth engine joined a new central part.
