"Old Starrish"

"Old Starrish" is the nickname I've given to the language of my most-thought-about people group in my main invented world. The people groups of this world are divided into 3 broad groupings, associated with the stars, the moon and the sun. Since this language belongs to the early period in my world, it's "OLD Starrish" Eventually, I'll figure out what its speakers call it.

Consonants:

In this language, the consonants carried all the basic meanings of words, both the lexical meanings and grammatical relations such as tense and case. Vowels were inserted by speakers at their discretion, and added "flavour".
The consonants are split into two sets, "hard" and "soft". The soft consonants are historically derived from the hard consonants followed by [h], and are so represented in the orthography I am using here. They may also be represented by capitalized versions of the hard letters.
