Dear Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to learn about the Esteban International School. Founded as a Kindergarten in 1964, we now occupy to campuses in Makati offering education from Pre-Primary to Grade 8. Our Grade School has just opened a new campus in the Nutrition Center Compound along Pasong Tamo (former Chino Roces Ave.) Extension. It is a lovely site with flame trees along the entrance and a secluded wooded area behind the school building. We intend to provide education through to Grade 12 within the next few years.
The Esteban School has been a member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) since 1997. This is the oldest and largest association of international schools. With many different nationalities represented in our student body, your child will meet many friends from around the world. We recognize and celebrate the uniqueness of each student and offer a curriculum with an international perspective where learning is significant, relevant, challenging and engaging.
We are awaiting full authorization to be the first school in the Philippines to implement the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB-PYP) which begins in the Nursery Class and continues to Grade 5. We have been working very hard the last few years, working with the IB Organization, designing our curriculum, preparing our lesson plans, participating in intensive teacher training both here and abroad, and imbibing IBO�s method of inquiry. We intend to adopt the IB curriculum as we grow through Grade 12.
