Entry for October 16, 2006
Another weekend has come and gone. We had a busy house that included me flying to Chicago in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday and getting stuck there... and arriving home several hours after I'd planned on that afternoon... so no photo's were taken.. :o( I'm going to give it a shot tonight!
Everyone is going just wonderful, babies will go for their first round of puppies shots this week and Mommy is officially becoming a no-nursing mommy...if we can avoid it. She certainly still loves her babies, and loves to be around them and even let them nurse quite a bit this weekend... but they are adjusting to meals and drinking lots of water so really her suppliment shouldn't be needed anymore.I would feel confident in saying she is housebroken and crate trained... no accidents in 6 days now... and she goes out willingly with the weims... so a home with another dog would be a benefit to her.More later!
