Wow, it's Sunday already. Saturday was somewhat a blur... several times I found myself saying ok, where is Brinks. The all B&W group now looks odd to me.
We took Collin into my vet, Dr. Sparks on Saturday, just a for a checkup, as he has a hernia as well. He assured me that Collin's hernia, being actually a bit larger then Brink's was is a good thing when it comes to hernia, as chances are slim of anything getting caught and causing the torsion that happened with Brinks.
He said that the earliest he would suggest fixing Collin's would be at 4 months old...Dr. Sparks raised Springers quite a few years ago so he enjoyed being able to smooch on some little ones... (we took Dottie with us, so that Collin wouldn't get lonely).
We're working on some fund raising projects for this litter's vet expense, and I'll post the information soon... ESRA, Inc. is financially very tight right now... and with the expenses that were a result of Brink's Emergency Vet Visit, and the puppies and Annie's upcoming shots, spays, neuters and hernia repair...and Annie's much needed Dental work, fundraising is in order...
